Christine is the founder and co-director of K2 Volleyball Club.  A native of Australia, Christine represented her country playing on the Australian Junior and Senior National Indoor and Beach Volleyball Teams.  She also competed collegiately as a setter at Oregon State University in 1992 and 1993.

Chris’s  passion for coaching began in Australia assisting state level teams. She has since had over 25 years of coaching experience at the high school, club, and collegiate level.  Chris assisted Maryville College from 2002 – 2003.  She has also helped train volleyball camps at the University of Tennesee and the University of Nebraska.

Christine is the current Webb High School varsity head volleyball coach. She has helped lead the lady spartans to 4 consecutive TSSAA State Championships (2013 – 2016). She was honored to be named Knoxville’s News Sentinal Prep-Extra Coach of The Year in 2013 & 2015.

Christine is married to K2 Director Jason Hames. Together they have three children, Nicklin, the eldest, is a 2018 setter committed to the University of Nebraska and Kayleigh is a 2019 Outside Hitter committed to Pepperdine University. Son Elijah plays of the K2 Boys Team.  All three of their children are current players in the K2 program.
